Head of the Shabak – the Israeli Secret Service – (GSS) Yuval Diskin visited Kfar Chabad on Tuesday in order to pay a shiva call to the Piamenta family following the death of their father, Yehuda Piamenta, who was 84.
Piamenta, it turns out, was a senior official in the Shabak and according to Diskin he trained a generation of officers. Diskin added that the family has “no idea how much Yehuda did in defense of the state.”
Yehuda Piamenta is also the father of Avi and Yossi Piamenta of the famous musical troupe by the same name.

To #1 “Completely In Dark”
Apparently you know little about the Jewish music industry if the name means nothing to you, but I’ll bet that there are more than a few Matzav readers that do recognize the name!

Who performed at your first wedding, Chaya?
Isn’t Piamenta the little red thing found inside of olives?
To #7, that’s palmetto found in olives.
No, no, no! Palmettos are those flying cockroaches found in Florida.
What is Shabak?
