malaysia-plane3Well this is interesting. According to two American officials, the U.S. believes that the communication systems of the missing Malaysian Airlines plane were shut down in two intervals.

The data reporting system was stopped at 1:07 a.m., while the location and altitude transmitter stopped at 1:21 a.m. Officials say the plane then continued to communicate with a satellite for possibly up to four or five hours after the last locational data shows. This spaced out communication shutdown could indicate a deliberate act. The search zone has now moved into the Indian Ocean. Read more at ABC.
