At least two people area dead after after a plane crashed into a two-story building at the Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita, Kansas. Multiple emergency crews have responded.
According to the FAA a twin engine Beechcraft lost an engine on takeoff and crashed into the Flight Safety building on airport road while attempting to return to the runway. Several and injured and several others are unaccounted for.
Crews have knocked down the fire and are reportedly entering the building to check for people. While flights are apparently operating normally, the main road to the airport is closed due to the emergency. FAA investigators are on the scene. Read more at KSN.
