In Lakewood, NJ, playgroup morahs and parents of pre-school children were asked once again this winter to refrain from beginning playgroup registration for the upcoming school year until Tu B’Shevat. This rule was enacted, under the guidance of Harav Matisyahu Salomon, Mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoha, and Harav Shmuel Blech, Rov of K’hal Anshei Sfard, for the ultimate benefit of all the children of the Lakewood community.
Today, registration begins, as mothers across the community began making phone calls to the respective morahs to try to reserve a slot for their child(ren).

I’m sure there is much more to report from Lakewood than this.
Please.
The bochurim and the preschoolers come out of the freezer today!
For the ti-ereh yidden in Lakewood who B”H continue their building of Am Yisrae-l into their fourth decade of life, it must be quite challenging to handle starting shidduchim and nursery for their children at the same time.
Please! Give them a break! Let’s stagger it!
Shmuel,
I assume you refer to the murder, drugs, skinhead violence, arrests and the other scary things.
This is different and nice to report. Come home to EY where every day is beautiful.
