The father of Ayal Yifrach, one of the kidnapped teens in Israel, has asked to please encourage women and girls around the world to light Shabbos candles in the merit of the boys.
In the words of Ayal’s Father:
“In every Jewish home in Israel and around the world, they should light Shabbos Candles. Shabbos is for zachor, remembering, and shamor, guarding. May Hashem remember the kidnapped boys and guard them. In the merit of this mitzvah may he save them and bring them back home safe and sound speedily.”
When kindling the lights please have in mind:
Yaakov Naftali Ben Rachel Devorah
Gilad Michael ben Bat Galim
