Pocket Money Goes To Hatzalah

Ariel Buchris, a ten-year-old student of the Nesivos Moshe Talmud Torah of Nahariya in northern Israel, donated fifty shekels to the United Hatzalah organization after saving pocket money cent by cent. With his gift came a letter saying:

“I love you very much, your energy. I also want to volunteer with you. But as I am only ten I will give you tzedokah to the best of my ability. When I grow up, I will volunteer with you bli neder.

“Ariel never wanted the story to reach the media,” his father, Lior, said. “He acted purely lesheim shomayim. But now that it’s publicized, it is a great kiddush Hashem.
