According to the Polish foreign minister, Russia offered to give Poland five provinces of Ukraine about a month ago. The deputy speaker of the Russian Duma also made a similar proposal to Hungary and Romania.
“We told him we were not doing it,” Radoslaw Sikorski revealed on Wednesday. Sikorski also requested U.S. troop protection, and theorized about when Russia would stop. “Russia probably has enough resources to digest Crimea,” he said. “I think all of eastern and southern Ukraine might give them indigestion.” Read more at The Washington Post.
