Police: Two Men Assaulted by Group On Coney Island Avenue
Two men were injured early this morning during a fight with nearly 15 people, the NYPD has said. A 21-year-old man was assaulted by the group inside of 1910 Coney Island Avenue, between Avenues O and P, down the block from Subsational, in Brooklyn, police said. He suffered head trauma and was listed in critical condition. Another man, apparently the victim’s friend, who’s also 21, tried to help and was stabbed in the torso. He was listed in stable condition.There was no word on what started the fight and no there were no arrests.

I doubt that upstanding citizens were at such a location is the early morning hours. Usually it’s riff raff getting into fights with there own kind at that time of day. Normal people are at home. It’s only the location that may make it newsworthy.
