    >> While I am no fan of the Vatican or of any pope, I am a fan of honest reporting. Apparently, the inept BBC (which most Jews correctly regard with the deepest suspicion because of their profound anti-Israel ideology), was responsible for yet another journalistic “faux pas,” by mistranslating what the pope actually said: According to the Italian newspapers (and, hey, they speak the language), Francis presented presented a gift to the Palestinian leader, commenting: “May the angel of peace destroy the evil spirit of war. I thought of you: may you be an angel of peace.”

We also wish that Abbas would BECOME an angel of peace…but we all know that that won’t happen in that PLO terrorist’s lifetime.
