Even when the same or another parent expressed plenty of affection, researchers found the apparent harmful effects of having a verbally aggressive mother or father persisted. Read more here.

  1. I know this first hand, but the really sad thing is after going through therapy and confronting my parents on these issues, they still don’t get.
