sinaiIn December 2011, Egypt sent the UN a report detailing how Israel owes the government of Egypt $500 billion for damage sustained by the Sinai Peninsula when it was controlled by Israel between 1967 and 1982.

Following a year of inaction by the UN, the report has now been sent to the U.S. in the hopes that it will press its ally, Israel, into paying the debt. The report notes that former president Hosni Mubarak did not make such claims during his time as ruler.

  1. Give them more land, may be they’ll love us then. Thank you Begin, Shamir, Peres, Rabin, Sharon, Netaniyahu, Labor, Likud, Shas, so-called “nationalist” parties, all the other parties, and the rest of the establishment.

  2. And I found in an old file cabinet an invoice of my great great alter alter zeida for past due wages for those pyramids. Fine, we’ll take off 500 Bil. and then they can just pay the balance.

  3. sounds like the story when an eygptian king asked the jews for damages when they “looted” eygpt on the way out…the repy was that we will pay you when you first pay up all the years of slavery.
Israel should ask for damages for the unprovoked wars….

  4. Let Egypt deduct what they think Israel owes them from
the unpaid wages that Egypt owes Israel for building
    their pyramids

  5. That sounds like a great Idea. Israel will pay them only after they pay Us for the work we did in Mitzrayim under the leadership of Paroh

  6. I do suppose marring the landscape with oil wells, air bases, and already built communities and agriculture amounts to quite a bit of damage.

  7. Netanyahu should send back a bill for 430 years of slave labor for 600,000 people (as well as disability and wrongful deaths claims). Could be in the tens of trillions.
