Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, who was once imprisoned for more than a year in Iran, slammed President Trump on Monday after the president demanded more credit for the release of UCLA basketball players detained in China.

“My dad was dead when the US negotiated my release from prison in #Iran, but if he was alive he’d have been deeply appreciative of all efforts to get me out,” Rezaian, an American-Iranian journalist who was held in one of Iran’s most notorious prisons, tweeted Monday.

“If for some reason, though, he was less than gracious about it I doubt @BarackObama would have [demanded credit].” Read more at The Hill.

  1. The left are all so ‘righteous’ until all the ‘abuse’ stories come out on their side and then they are ok..

Not to say the ‘right’ are not angels either..

    It is all politics.

  2. Because the media were cheerleading for obama, he didnt need to do it for himself. not to mention the fact that obama gave hundreds of billions to iran for his release.
