Updated: Press Conference to Be Held Following Arrests in Stark Murder Case Postponed

rabbi-niederman-ujo[Update below.] A press conference will be held today to address the arrests made in connection with the murder of Reb Menachem Stark, the 39-year-old member of the Williamsburg community.

The press conference will take place today at 1 p.m. at The United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg, located at 32 Penn Street in Brooklyn.

“Today is bittersweet,” said Rabbi Moshe Dovid Niederman, executive director of United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg. ” Bitter because Menachem is no longer with us and he is forever missed. Sweet that the law enforce community has made an arrest in this heinous crime.”

Update: The United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg has cancelled its press conference, stating, “We are grateful that the NYPD has made major strides in the Menachem Stark case. The scheduled press conference at UJO has been postponed.”
