Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tom Price in an interview on Sunday said President Trump is able to “do more than one thing at a time,” referring to Trump’s focus last week on attacking the co-hosts of “Morning Joe.”
“Well, what I’m concentrated on is the job that he’s given me, and that is to make certain that we fulfill the mission of the Department of Health and Human Services, which is to improve the health, safety and well-being of the American people,” Price told NBC’s “Meet the Press” when asked if Trump’s behavior bothers him.
“With all due respect, you’re blaming me for what the president of the United States has spent his entire week focused on?” Todd asked.
Todd then asked Price why Trump is not as devoted as the HHS secretary is to the issues of healthcare.
“Why isn’t the president as devoted to this as you are?” Todd asked.
“Well I think that he is, absolutely. The fact of the matter is that he can do more than one thing at a time,” Price said. Read more at The Hill.
