Clinton Correctional FacilityJoyce Mitchell, 51, the prison worker accused of helping two convicted killers escape from prison, planned to meet the pair at midnight on the night of the escape and leave with them, prosecutors allege.

“The three of them were going to move on together. That was the plan,” Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wiley told NBC News.

Mitchell is also accused of bringing the two killers, David Sweat and Richard Matt, cutting blades, hacksaw blades, chisels, a punch, a screwdriver bit, and glasses with lights.

Sweat murdered a sheriff’s deputy in 2002, and Matt killed and dismembered a businessman who torso was found in the Niagara River. Read more at NBC News.
