Proper Speech in the Sukkah

0

sukkah3Inasmuch as the holiness of the Sukkah is very great, one should limit discussions in the Sukkah as much as possible to words of Torah and other proper topics befitting the Sukkah. Certainly one should be careful to avoid speaking any Loshon Hora, Rechilus, or other prohibited speech in the Sukkah. Shulchan Aruch w/Mishnah Berurah 639:1

One should bring all the nicest dishes, silverware, and serving pieces into the Sukkah, but leave pots and other kitchen utensils in the house, just as one would normally behave in one’s dining room on Shabbos or Yom Tov. Shulchan Aruch w/Mishnah Berurah 639:1
