Putin Calls Obama for 4th of July

putinVladimir Putin gave President Obama a call to say he would like better relations and to wish the president a happy Fourth of July.

“The head of the Russian state expressed hope that … ties between the two countries will develop successfully on the basis of pragmatism and equality despite difficulties and disagreements,” the Kremlin said.

The U.S. has imposed sanctions on members of the Russian elite and stopped working with Russia on numerous issues. The U.S. is also threatening more sanctions over Russia’s involvement in arming separatists in eastern Ukraine. Read more at The Chicago Tribune.

  1. Good riddance was hopefully what Mr. Obama said when he hung up. I mean, who needs the chastity belt of the Brooklyn experiment on the line when you are just a painful direction of laughter in your own favor. (meaning- jews had to leave the pagan Russia for our future in America and Obama is just a penny poor but still our President).

    Good to see that a buckle down hop scotch reunion took place.

    Next year in Serbia, right?

  2. Osnap was probably offended as he has been trying to undo everything relating to July 4th. Including not having Ramadan as an equally observed American holiday.
