putinNow Putin and Obama have something in common.

Russian President Vladmir Putin has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize because he “actively promotes settlement of all conflicts arising on the planet” (read: tried to prevent a U.S. airstrike on Syria), according to an activist group called the International Academy of Spiritual Unity and Cooperation of Peoples of the World, which put Putin’s name forward. Of course, the organization’s letter of recommendation neglected to mention any of the Putin administration’s past violence toward Chechen separatists, the war in Georgia, Putin’s past in the KGB, or the supplying of weapons to Iran.

This year’s winner will be announced October 11. Read more at The Daily Mail.

  1. A most deserving person to receive this prize he has contributed to peace as much as the other most deserving person Barack Obama and Yassir Arafat Y’MS

  2. ‘Of course, the organization’s letter of recommendation neglected to mention ……… the president’s anti-toeivah stance.’

He does deserve a prize for that!!! He is right on that, better than the foolish Western liberals.
