It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of R’ Moishy Spilman z”l of Monsey, NY.
Moishy was a dedicated member of Monsey Hatzolah, for which he served as a coordinator for many years. As Unit 39, Moishy was supremely dedicated to the work of Hatzolah in general, going out on calls and administering emergency care, and also assisting on the administrative side of the organization.
Moishy was a beloved resident of Voyager Court in the Mariner area of Monsey.
He passed away following a battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his wife and children, and numerous friends, who will perpetuate his legacy of chesed.
The levayah will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Hatzolah garage at Grandview Avenue and Route 306 in Monsey, continuing at 2 p.m. at the Yeshiva of Spring Valley boys building on College Road. Kevurah will follow at the Monsey bais hachaim.
