Rabbi Aryeh Kapinsky Hy”d, killed in today’s attack, was 43.
Born in the United States on 28 Sivan 1971, he was a son of Rabbi and Mrs. Shlomo and Bracha Kapinsky.
Reb Aryeh is remembered as a ben Torah who devoted much time to Torah and tefillah. He endured the tragic passing of his daughter, Chaya, about three years ago at the age of thirteen.
Reb Aryeh as involved in numerous chassodim, including operating a gemach that assisted an untold number of people. Whenever help was needed, Reb Aryeh was there. He lived for others with every fiber of his being.
Reb Aryeh’s son, Eliyahu, is a talmid of Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman’s yeshiva, Yeshiva Gaon Yaakov in Bnei Brak. Rav Chananya Chollak of Ezer Mitzion informed Eliyahu of the terrible news this morning.

I remember him as a little kid. We had carpool together in Oak Park, MI
I remember him well from R Tzvi Kushelefsky’s yeshivah. Always a smile, always positive, always upbeat, always full of energy, always ready to JUMP to help anyone; never complained, never got angry, never said a bad or unkind word. A gentle giant (he was a strong broad tall built fellow) with the softest of demeanors and purest of hearts.
