candle-small4It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rabbi Michoel Weiner z”l of Lakewood. NJ. Rav Weiner was a humble talmid chochom, who spent his years immersed in the Yam Hatalmud in unassuming fashion, at Beth Medrash Govoha and elsewhere. Rabbi Weiner, for years, wrote for ArtScroll/Mesorah Publications for their Mishnayos and Talmud Bavli projects.

Rabbi Weiner had moved to West Gate a few weeks ago and last week was admitted to the hospital min Toms River, NJ.

He leaves behind a beautiful family; all his children are married besides his youngest son.

He is survived by his wife, Reichel, and his children, Shmulie, Yaakov, Yossi, Moshe, Dovid, Yehudah, Chaim, Shlomo, Shoshi, Sarah and Miriam.

The levaya will take place tomorroe, at 9:15 a.m., at Seventh Street and Private Way, right outside the main campus of Beth Medrash Govoah. The kevurah will follow at the bais hakevaros located adjacent to the Holocaust Memorial Chapel of Congregation Sons of Israel off of East Seventh Street in Lakewood.

Yehi zichro boruch.
