candle-small3It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rabbi Moshe Kuessous z”l, who passed away this evening following an illness.

Rabbi Kuessous, a longtime and veteran mechanech, and a longstanding member of the Syrian community of Deal, NJ, served for over three decades as menahel of Yeshivat Shaare Torah Boys Elementary School.

The levaya will take place Wednesday morning at the Magen David Synagogue, at 2017 67th Street between 20th and 21st Avenues, in Brooklyn, NY.

  2. He was mekabel yissurim with enormous love of Hashem. His bitachon remained steadfast and secure. he appreciated every painful moment of his illness in a lofty way. Undoubtedly brought tremendous nachas to Hashem in living up to lofty expectations….. He maintained an exerior and interior of real simcha… an amazing person, father , mechanech. Missas Tzadikim is mechaper….. we now need to do zechusim in his merit and help this family of 15 children….
    May he be mashpia in Shamayim as he was mashpia here.

  3. a bachur told me at the levya that when he got sent out of yeshiva in high school he called every night to ask him if he wants to learn with him and when he got back into yeshiva every bein hazmanim he would ask him how yeshiva is going and give him chizzuk we should learn from him!

  4. i learned with him bechavrusa for 6 mo. he was a real tzadik a talmid chochom and baal midos. there was sro by levaya. packed. may his family be blessed

  5. He was tzadik ben tzadik. His father was moiser nefesh for yiddishkeit and therfore had
    the zchus that all his children are outstanding
