As the Telzer Rosh Yeshiva was maspid tonight in cleveland, R’ Refael was an ish kasher. What a chashuve person we have lost! Woe to us… It was such an honor for our city to have such a family stay with us and we cry for the loss we now share with the family we count as one of our own. May he be a meilitz yosher for his choshuve almana and his little kiderlach. And may this purim be a yeshua for all cholei yisroel.

Harav Refael was such an amazing person. Even after one short shabbos meal with Harav, was it evident that I was zoche to host a great man. This is such a heart wrenching loss. He will be greatly missed.

Lately Reb Refael Z”L was involved with a lot of funding not only for his Yeshiva, but also for tzurchei harabim. I don’t know if he owes anyone money, but if he does and you can’t be moichel it bpeh, please let his brother Avrumi know about it and he’ll do his best to be mesader it. Please all who’ve ever felt slighted or mistreated by Reb Refael Z’L to say bpeh that your moichel him blev Shalem. Reb Refael was a person who was mekabel all and usually saw the good in others that they themselves didn’t. At this difficult time please do the same for his neshama. May we all share in simchos umacha Hashem Elokim dimah

As the rest of Klal Yisroel celebrates purim with much joy-we mourn and cry from the loss of our uncle Refael Menachem Meir zt”l. He was such a special person who was so close to Hakadosh Baruchu. He was someone we really looked up to! We felt so honored to have such a Chashuva person like Refael as an uncle. He always had a smile on his face and had so so much simchas hachaim! No matter what the situation was he found the good in it! We also remember how he always had something nice to comment or a humorous joke to say! We were Zoche to spend his last pesach with him and it was one we will never forget! He was already quite sick and yet spent the whole yom tov running to shul with his sons, singing all thru the sedarim, learning and enjoying the heilig time even going on chol hamoed trips with his children all with great mesiras nefesh! May the Ribono Shel Olam give our dear aunt Elisheva and our cousins along with our whole family a Nechama! May his neshamah go right next to the Rebono Shel Olam and may we be Zoche to see him very soon by Mashiach Bemihara Veyamainu, Amein!!
