Rabbi Schachter, Rabbi Lipschutz and Others to Address Boro Park Rubashkin Rally Next Week

A women and girls rally in support of Sholom Mordechai Rubaskin is scheduled to take place next week in Boro Park, Brooklyn. Called for Monday, December 28, at Beth El shul on 15th Avenue and 48th Street in Boro Park, it promises “a soul-stirring and inspirational evening, including a musical presentation.””Funds must be raised immediately to reverse this travesty of justice for the costs of appealing his case and procuring his release,” a sign for the event says.

Sholom Mordechai, a former vice president at Agriprocessors, is being denied bail as he awaits the judge’s sentencing.

Speakers at the event include Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, Rabbi Moshe Snow, Rabbi Fischel Schachter and Mrs. Miriam Swerdlov of Crown Heights.
