It is with great sadness that Matzav reports the passing of Rabbi Shimon Cohen zt”l.
Rabbi Cohen was a close talmid and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn for over 50 years.
Rabbi Cohen was the beloved rov of the youth minyan at Congregation Beth Torah in Flatbush and a rebbi at Magen David Yeshiva for over 50 years.
The levayah will be held today at 1 p.m. at Congregation Beth Torah, located at 1061 Ocean Parkway, between Avenues J and K, in Flatbush Brooklyn.
