  1. Every time I see an article on here about Rubashkin, my heart swells for joy again, even though I don’t know him personally and have no connection to Chabad. Could be it’s because I prayed for him so much unlike those who are “sick of Rubashkin festivals” probably didn’t feel along his pain all the years. So just keep the stories and his hakoros hatov meetings coming as an inspiration for klal yisroel.

  2. Just seeing Chabadniks and Satmars together brings tears of inspiration to my eyes. The only valid divisions are Cohanim, Leviim, and Yisroelim, perhaps shvotim; all other artificial subgroups have to be annulled. If a Rebbe or a Rosh Yeshiva has a particular derech avoda or limud to teach, it should be taught to all Yiden, from all backgrounds, as opposed to creating exclusive communities and fractions.

  3. Many Jews have been abused by the judicial system in one way or another, and many have endured jail time in an exemplary fashion. Yet this doesn’t make all such people perfect tzaddikim.

  4. In these difficult times we need to look at the positive side of things, how this issue United so many different Yiddin that have very different hashkafos but we’re able to rejoice at SMR miraculous release on the last night of Chanukah. May the Achdus continue and may the Creator shep Nachas.

  5. what a disgrace for a rebbe to give such honor to a criminal. by doing so he is spitting in the face of every honest hard working individual.

  6. Moshiach tzeiten. Who would of thought you would have a group of Chabadskers in the house of the Satmar Rebbe??? Kol hakavod. Maybe (I hope) the 2 groups can build off of this.
I remember those dark days in the late 70’s when things between the 2 groups was not so rosy. B”H we’ve come a long way.

  7. Anonymous- chabad and satmar arent together since chabad loathes them. There cant be achdus when it is only one sided. In chabads view, everyone has to respect them or rather be like them, but they can never respect anyone elses minhagim or hashkafa. That is why they look down upon everyone else and they will actually explain to you why they are better than everyone and give you all sorts of “proof” and reasons to “support” their cause.
