Rabbonim to Address Detroit Yom Iyun Today

rav-yehudah-bakstToday, the Detroit community will be having its annual Yom Iyun on the topic of “Talmud Torah.” The event will be held at Yeshiva Gedola Ateres Mordechai of Detroit.

Rav Eli Yelen, rov of Congregation Yagdil Torah in Southfield, will open the program at 10:30 a.m.

Rav Nochum Eisenstein, rov of the Forest Park neighborhood in Lakewood, will deliver a shiur at 10:45 a.m. on the laws of Birchas HaTorah.  

At 11:30 a.m., there will be a seder with baalei batim pairing up in chavrusos and reviewing various marei mekomos,

At 12:30 p.m., Rav Yisroel Menachem Levin, rov of Congregation Bais Tefilo in Southfield, will deliver a talk during lunch.

Rav Dovid Schustal, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, will give a shiur iyun at 1:30 p.m.

Minchah will be at 2:30 p.m., and at 2:45 p.m., Rav Dovid Goldberg, R”M at Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland, will speak.

The final speaker will be Rav Yehuda Bakst, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedola Ateres Mordechai, who will address the gathering at 3:30 p.m.
