untitled2Harav Baruch Abuchatzeirah, known as Baba Baruch, a son of the Baba Sali, said yesterday that his father appeared to him in a dream and warned that Israelis should not vote for Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Lieberman in tomorrow’s elections.

According to Baba Baruch, his father told him that Lieberman wants to destroy the Jewish identity of Israel by allowing civil marriages and relaxing the rules for geirus. As we reported, Chacham Ovadiah Yosef, head of Shas’ Moetzes Chachmei  HaTorah, has made similar comments about Lieberman.

  1. ok, so if you had a dream that said dont believe in dreams, clearly we cant listen to your dreams…Have respect for daas torah

  2. What we need is more respect for our gedolim and daas Torah. What we most certainly do not need are more disparaging comments made by folks who appear to take great pleasure in finding fault with what our gedolim say.
Baba Baruch is a mekubal, a baal mofes and one of the gedolei hador. His word is good enough for me.

  3. The Maharsha says there are three types of dreams each type stems from a persons spiritual level 1. a complete false dream
    2. a dream of which the outcome completely depends on the interpretation
    3. a dream that is completely true usually high spiritual level individuals merit seeing.
Clearly the Rav’s is # 3 since we are not used to dreams like his so it is possible to mistakenly disregard such important dreams
