Rachmastrivke Rebbe: Tsunami in Japan Result of Bochurim in Jail
Rav Dovid Twersky, the Rachmastrivka Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel, says that the recent tsunami in Japan, which has left thousands of people dead, was the result of the arrest of the two yeshiva bochurim, Yaakov Yosef and Yoel Zev, by Japanese authorities and jailed.
“The Japanese don’t understand why they keep on receiving blow after blow, and it never ends. If they want it to stop, they must release the two boys jailed in their prison immediately, and then experience salvation,” the Rebbe told chassidim this past week.
The Rebbe then said tefillos for the two boys.

the tsunami could have kit anywhere in the world why davka japan we know everything that happends in the world is for klal yisroel sometimes you have to search hard to see why.in this case japan has been on our minds before this tsunami we don’t have to look for the reason its cause and effect hashem is telling us he sees their suffering

“הכלא רעד כמו אניה שמיטלטלת בשעת סערה. רעידת האדמה והאפטר שייק ארכו בערך שעתיים. הכלא היה בטירוף כולם השתוללו, זעקות אימה פרצו מכל התאים אנשים צעקו בטירוף. הסוהרים ואנשי הצוות ברחו למקום מסתור”, כך מספר אסיר יפן, יוסף יעקב בשחזור מצמרר מרגעי האימה בכלא.
“הרגשתי כמו יונה באוניה”, מתאר יוסף, “בית הכלא רעד במשך שעה ארוכה והיטלטל כמו אניה בסערה”, סיפר לעסקנים האמריקנים שהגיעו היום לטוקיו שם נערך שלב הסיכומים בנושא הערך המשפטי של הפוליגראף שנערך.
העסקנים האמריקניים ר’ אהרון ניזרי ור’ אלימלך בינדיגר הגיעו היום לטוקיו לרגל הדיון שהתקיים בבית המשפט בעניין הפוליגראף. מועד השלב הסופי במשפטו של יוסף יעקב נקבע ל16 במאי. בתום הדיונים בבית המשפט נפגשו האבא והעסקנים עם הצעיר. ר’ אהרון ניזרי סיפר כי הפגישה ארכה כעשרים דקות, מקסימום הזמן המתאפשר בבית סוהר זה.
יוסף היה במצב רוח מרומם ותיאר בהתרגשות את השעתיים המפחידות שעברו עליו ביום שישי, בו התרחשה רעידת האדמה. הוא יוסף הוסיף ואמר כי הגמרא במסכת ברכות דף נ”ט אומרת שכאשר ילדי ישראל נמצאים בשבי הקב”ה מוריד שתי דמעות שנושרות לתוך האוקיינוס. “זו הסיבה לרעידת האדמה”, אמר הצעיר.
לאחר מכן נפגשו העסקנים עם הבחור יואל זאב שסיפר אף הוא את שעבר עליו בעת רעידת האדמה. יואל זאב אמר כי השנה הוא שלח משלוח מנות לקב”ה, בדמות דמעות, “בקשתי מהקב”ה שיחזיר לי משלוח מנות, את משיח צדקנו”.
