That’s what Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) learned in the first hours of Thursday morning when his filibuster of the nomination of John Brennan as director of the CIA ended at 12:39 a.m. because he had to use the bathroom.
“I’ve discovered there are some limits to filibustering, and I’m going to have to take care of one of those in a few minutes,” he said. But speaking with Glenn Beck on Thursday, Paul said he thought of using a catheter to prevent the necessary bathroom break. “I did think about it,” he said. “I’ve [done it] before, but I really decided against it.”

Rand Paul is the single most anti-Israel politician in the US Senate. He deserves no kvod from us.
