Rand Paul on Shabbos accused President Obama of working with “anti-American globalists” to “plot against our Constitution.”
The email blast was sent on behalf of the National Association on Gun Rights and heavily criticized the president’s gun control efforts. Here’s a snippet of the email, courtesy of the Washington Post’s Ezra Klein.
On November 7th, his administration gleefully voted at the UN for a renewed effort to pass the “Small Arms Treaty.”But after the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut – and anti-gun hysteria in the national media reaching a fever pitch – there’s no doubt President Obama and his anti-gun pals believe the timing has never been better to ram through the U.N.’s global gun control crown jewel.
I don’t know about you, but watching anti-American globalists plot against our Constitution makes me sick.
The Kentucky Senator (R) has repeatedly spoken out against new laws on gun control. Most recently, he threatened to filibuster a bill to expand background checks on gun purchases. The Senate attempted to use cloture to circumvent the filibuster, but ended up falling short of the 60 votes needed to pass the bill.
Paul called the bill “a dog and pony show” and accused Obama of using the Newtown victims’ families– who were present during the vote– as political props.

There are medications for his kind of problem. If he really believes this he has a problem with reality-checking. If he doesn’t believe it and just saying it to get votes and publicity, then he’s a danger to the country.
Either way, this guy is not speaking for the Republican Party of Pres. Eisenhower, or even Pres. Reagan. He’s as crazy as Pres. Nixon was but without Nixon’s political smarts. He’s basically in the game because of his Papa and his Papa’s money.
When is the Republican Party going to go back to being Republican and not a home for the psychologically confused?
A couch is a national treasure to men like Rand Paul. And if you live without vacations of faith, Rand has a house to sell you in Cuba.
This guy has got to run for President. He won’t pull a John McCain/Mitt Romney on the American people. He would easily beat Hillary “what difference does it make” Clinton!
