Rand’s Anti-NSA Site Collects Data

rand-paulRand Paul has launched a campaign against the data collection practices of the NSA, but the website he has set up reserves the right to share personal information of supporters with third parties.

The presidential candidate set up a website that encourages concerned citizens to sign up in protest of the NSA’s surveillance. But on the privacy policy it says that it has the right to send that data to “with vendors, consultants, and other service providers or volunteers,” and other organizations.

“We are very proud of the transparency of our privacy policy,” a campaign manager said in response. “We fully disclose any potential use of personal information, and don’t play any word games that might otherwise mislead people.” Read more at the Free Beacon.
