Rare Biblical Exhibit, Including Seals of Neviim, in Oklahoma

A rare world premiere exhibit of ancient biblical-era artifacts, many on display for the first time, was launched in the heart of the Bible Belt at the Armstrong Auditorium in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Exhibits include the first display of seals bearing the names of King Chizkiyohu and Yeshayohu Hanovi. These were discovered in the Old City in 2009-2010 during excavations conducted under Hebrew University archaeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar.

Also on display for the first time are a cache of 2,000-year-old coins from the Jewish revolt discovered earlier this year in Yerushalayim. Other rare exhibits include First Beis Hamikdash artifacts, mostly from Tel Lachish and Tel Beersheva, including striking weapons, ceramics and weigh stones.

The exhibit is the fruit of a 50-year partnership between a group of US Christians and Israel’s archaeological Mazar family. The exhibit is also available online.
