aharon-feldmanRav Aharon Feldman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ner Yisroel in Baltimore, Maryland, who underwent surgery following an accident several weeks ago, returned to the yeshiva last night for the first time since being hospitalized.

A crowd of hundreds of  people, including bochurimavreichim and rabbeim of the yeshiva, gathered on Yeshiva Lane on the Ner Yisroel campus to welcome back the beloved rosh yeshiva with lively singing of Yomim Al Yemei Melech Tosif and other niggunim.

Rav Feldman, who has been rosh yeshiva at Ner Yisroel since 2001, is a member of the Moetzes gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisroel of America. His father was Rav Yosef Feldman zt”l, who was the last rov to formally serve as chief rabbi of Baltimore.  Rav Aharon was a close talmid of Rav Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, founding rosh yeshiva of Ner Yisroel. Rav Feldman moved to Bnei Brak in his twenties and studied in the Kollel Chazon Ish under the Steipler Gaon and Rav Elazar Shach.

  1. L’kaayem Banu Chachmei Yisroel!

The Tzibbur is asked to Daven for Rav Shlomo Brevda, Shlita, who is in the ICU suffering from a serious illness and needs our Tefillos urgently.

Saying Tehillim daily in his Zechus for the Refuah Shelaima of “Rav Shlomo Leib Ben Miriam” would be greatly appreciated.

Rav Brevda requested that we increase the intensity of our Tefillos during Dovening and say Tehillim (day and/or night) whenever the opportunity arises. He feels in very dire straights. Please request that a Misheberech to be said for the Rav during Kryias HaTorah.

    Thank you.
