  4. I am taking the time to answer number 6, even though I am getting ready to leave to go to my father’s levaya in a couple 0f hours.
There were 37 talmidim from Lubavitch who originally came to Shanghai. After a few weeks, 9 of them were given visas from Canada.(Canada gave out 81 entry visas, and 9 of these were given to the Temimim). With a little research, you would have discovered that Rabbi Yosef Wineberg left for Canada by boat. The remaining talmidim (with the exception of Shmuel Lederhandler, who was stuck in Tientsin for the war years)are the ones referred to as the Shanghai Temimim. They were there for about 5 years.
Please check your facts in the future, before making claims.
To answer number 3, my father turned 90 over Sukkot of this year. He had been given a brachah of arichus yomim when he had yechidut in warsaw, before leaving for Vilna.
