Rav Belsky to Speak at Nikkur Seminar in Monsey Tonight

rav-yisroel-belskyTonight, the Orthodox Union’s Harry H. Beren Ask OUtreach program will continue its travels in Monsey, NY, where Rav Yisroel Belsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and posek of the OU, will be joined by Rabbi Nosson Goldberg, and Rabbi Shimon Mendlowitz of Monsey Glatt to discuss “Nikkur and Other Meat Issues.” The program will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. at Yeshiva Ohr Somayach, located at 244 Rte. 306, in the new Bais Shvidler auditorium.

The program is sponsored by the Harry H. Beren Foundation of Lakewood, NJ.

Admission is free. A free “How to be Menaker” DVD will be distributed to attendees.
Additional parking will be available at Ramapo Senior High School on Viola Rd.

The Ask OUtreach program has successfully presented well-attended programs in Lakewood, NJ; at Lander College in Queens; and for the Satmar community in Kiryas Yoel.

  1. Intersting that the OU aranged the Nikur Seminar in Monsey featuring Rav Belsky, at the same time that Torah Vodaas is having their dinner in Brooklyn. Rav Belsky is a Rosh Yeshiva there.
