rav-chaim-kanievsky[Photos below.] One week after being released from the hospital, Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky has resumed his regular schedule, davening kevosikin at the famed Lederman Shul on Rechov Rashbam, adjacent to his home.

As reported here on Matzav.com, on Erev Shabbos Parshas Va’eschanon, Rav Chaim was hospitalized at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak. He had been scheduled to return home for that Shabbos following a battery of tests, but he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit after his condition worsened. Last Shabbos, however, Rav Chaim’s fever dropped and he experienced great improvement.

Rav Chaim returned home on Wednesday. Yesterday, he was once again present at the vosikin minyan at the Lederman Shul where he davens each day. Since returning home, Rav Chaim’s family, to protect his health, has not bothered Rav Chaim with visitors, though it is expected that he will resume accepting people for brachos and chizuk in the near future.

See below for photos of Rav Chaim heading to daven kevosikin since returning home:

  1. Didn’t Rav Chaim recently (before he was taken ill) say that the end is very near? I believe it was a story that ran on Matzav.com.
