Despite the improvement in the health condition of Rav Chaim Shlomo Leibowitz, rosh yeshiva of the Ponovezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak and former rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva Kamenitz in Yerushalayim, he is still hospitalized in serious condition at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, and will undergo surgery today to ease breathing.
To enable Rav Leibowitz to breathe independently, his doctors have decided to place a breathing tube in his throat.
All are asked to continue davening for Rav Chaim Shlomo ben Tzaita Leah.
Meanwhile, all are also asked to continue davening for Rav Refoel Shmulevitz, rosh yeshiva at Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, who remains hospitalized in serious condition at Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim. The name for Tehillim is Rav Refoel ben Chana Miriam.
