Rav Elyashiv Visits Kosel On Erev Yom Tov

The posek hador, Maran Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, paid a rare visit to the Kosel on Friday, Erev Yom Tov, ahead of the Yom Hadin, to daven there and beseech the Ribono Shel Olam for rachamim and for yeshuos for all of Klal Yisroel during this new year of 5770. Rav Elyashiv, who hardly leaves his home and bais medrash in Meah Shearim, was accompanied to the Kosel by his close confidant and gabbai, Rav Yosef Efrati, as well as the rov of the Kosel, Rav Shmuel Rabinovitch. Immediately after davening at the Kosel, Rav Elyashiv returned home.
