Rav Malkiel Kotler and Rav Matisyahu Salomon in Chicago for BMG Reception


rajchenbachHarav Malkiel Kotler, Rosh Hayeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha, and Harav Matisyahu Salomon, Mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoha, are in Chicago. They have undertaken the trip from Lakewood to the Midwest to attend the annual event held in the Windy City to benefit Beth Medrash Govoha. The event will be held this evening at the home of Rabbi Yaakov Rajchenbach, located at 6301 N. Central Park.

 Rabbi Rajchenbach (seen in photo) is a staunch supporter of the yeshiva and many worthy Torah causes and is a member of the presidium of Torah Umesorah.

  1. One of the leading rabbonim in Chicago said today this is very good news. Because it says Talmidei Chachamim bring sholom to the oilam. He was looking forward for the Rosh Yeshiva and Mashgiach to bring forth sholom and achdus in our city.

  2. Having lived in Chicago for the past 30 years, I was not aware that there was a severe problem with a lack of achdus in the Torah community here. Yes, in the distant past there have been issues. But that is pretty much no longer the case.
