Rav Moshe Yechezkel Kramer z”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Moshe Yechezkel Kramer z”l of Monsey. He was 65 years old.

Rav Moshe Yechezkel passed away two weeks after he was seriously injured in an accident in Lakewood.

On Friday night of Shabbos Parshas Vayechi, he was was walking home from shul on Friday night on Route 9 near Finchley Road in Lakewood, NJ, when he was struck by a vehicle. He suffered many fractures and went into cardiac arrest.

Hatzolah paramedics worked on Rav Moshe Yechezkel and got a pulse back, and he was then transported by helicopter Northstar-1 to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

Ultimately, however, his injuries proved too severe and he passed away Friday night at the hospital.

Rav Moshe Yechezkel is remembered as a kind and sweet individual, a talmid chochom, and a friend to so many. His petirah and the tragic circumstances surrounding it have left his family and friends in grief.
