The Los Angeles community has welcomed Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the beloved rosh yeshiva in Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim. Rav Finkel is being hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Zevi Wolmark and Mr. and Mrs. Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz. A full schedule of events has been planned.
The highlight of Rav Finkel’s visit will be a gala melava malka this Motzoei Shabbos, Parshas Chayei Sarah, to benefit Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim at 8:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz, located at 102 N. Alta Vista Blvd
A team of organizers is making arrangements for the anticipated throngs who will wish to meet the rosh yeshiva personally.
Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim is the largest yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel with over 5,000 talmidim, mostly from the United States, Canada and England.
Rav Finkel, the present rosh yeshiva, is a son-in-law of Rav Beinish Finkel zt”l, the previous rosh yeshiva, and a great-grandson of the Alter of Slabodka, Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel zt”l, after whom he is named.

It is amazing how Rav Finkel shlita who is a man who has health issues travels around the world for the Yeshiva,with such MESIRAS NEFESH,its no wonder when he comes to town he has many people coming.This is a prime example of mesiras nefesh for Torah and Mosdos Hatorah who are all struggling financially.This tremendous zechus of helping thousands learn Torah should stand by him to give him strenghth to continue his avodas hakodesh.
