Rav Reuven Silver zt”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Reuven Silver zt“l.

Rav Silver lived in Montreal, and was formerly of Toronto, where he had served as a rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva Ner Yisroel of Toronto.

The levayah will be held Wednesday morning, at 10:30 a.m., at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, located at 613 Ramsey Street, in Lakewood NJ.

Rav Silver is survived by his wife; his siblings, R’ Mendel Silver, R’ Label Silver and Mrs. Esther Zalkind; and his children, R’ Meir Simcha Silver, R’ Yitzchok Zev Silver, R’ Tzvi Silver, R’ Shuvi Silver, R’ Yoni Silver, Mrs. Ehrblich, Mrs. Zoberman, Mrs. Leiman and Mrs. Boaz.

The family will be sitting shivah at the Leiman home, located at 8 Engleberg Terrace in Lakewood, NJ.
