Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky Arrives in Moscow

The venerable Philadelphia rosh yeshiva, Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, has arrived in Moscow, leading a delegation to visit Operation Open Curtain’s mosdos in the city.

Open Curtain has been building Torah and Yiddishkeit in Moscow for over two decades. Their schools, yeshivos and summer camps have changed the lives of thousands of Jews, who are now leading Torah true lives.

Rav Kamenetsky has been making the annual trip since becoming nosi of the organization a decade ago.

The group will be spending Shabbos together with over 100 Jewish children in Camp Etz Chaim.

Also expected to join the group for Shabbos is the mara d’asra and head of the Conference of European Rabbis, Rav Pinchas Goldschmidt.
