This morning, a close talmid of Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman told him that he was heading to Meron to daven at the kever of Rav Shimon Bar Yochai on Lag Ba’omer. The man asked Rav Shteinman for a brachah that his tefillos be accepted On High.
Rav Shteinman responded: “If we respond to the requests people ask of us, then Hakadosh Boruch Hu will respond to the requests we make of Him.”
A talmid chochom who was present who was not able to go to Meron today asked Rav Shteinman if there is an inyan to go to Meron after Lag Ba’omer.
“Even after Lag Ba’omer, as long as there are a hundred people at the tziyun, there is an inyan.”

“Even after Lag Baomer, as long as there are a hundred people at the tziyun, there is an inyan.
But if there are not a hundred people there is no inyan?
This piece doesn’t sound right.
A even bigger inyan would be to learn an hour in bais medresh,
Has Maran HaRav Steinman ever told his talmidim as a whole to go there on Lag Ba’omer? I don’t think so.
all these stories get twisted out of context

Little man, your opinion doesn’t matter to anyone. When a Gadol BYisrael speaks, you shut your mouth and just listen.
