Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman, senior rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Orchos Torah and Gaon Yaakov in Bnei Brak, has seen improvement in his condition. Rav Shteinman has been hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center since Monday afternoon. He had been rushed to the hospital after he became feverish and experienced symptoms of pneumonia.
Today, the rosh yeshiva was moved from the ICU on the sixth floor of the hospital.
Tomorrow, the attending doctors will examine Rav Shteinman and decide whether he can be released to his home, where he would continue to rest.
Yesterday, Rav Shteinman participated in a minyan in his room for Shacharis and said the Kaddish Derabonon as he usually does each day.
