The eyes of the Torah world remain fixed on the fourth floor of Maayanei Hayeshuah Medical Center in Bnei Brak, where Maran Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman is hospitalized and under the close watch of a team of doctors.

Rav Shteinman remains in critical condition and is in need of a refuah, but is somewhat stable.

“The rosh yeshiva is still in a matzav kasheh,” said Dr. Eliyahu Sorkin of the hospital, who stressed that Yidden the world over should continue davening for Rav Shteinman, who is battling various serious ailments, including compromised kidney function.

Rav Chaim Kanievsky and others have asked Jews across the world to take on addition learning and tefillos as a zechus for Rav Shteinman, and to be mekabel Shabbos early and stop doing melacha a half hour earlier than usual.

It is hoped that Rav Shteinman will see improvement over Shabbos.

All are asked to continue davening for Rav Aharon Yehuda Leib ben Gittel Faiga.
