Rav Shteinman’s Condition Turns Serious

Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman’s condition turned serious and unstable over the last few hours at the Intensive Care Unit at Maayanei Hayeshuah Medical Center in Bnei Brak.

Apparently, Rav Shteinman still has an infection, after reports that it had been eradicated. He is also suffering from fever, the cause of which is not clear.

Over Shabbos, there had been slight improvement, as Rav Shteinman was stable in the ICU, where he was joined by children and grandchildren.

Dr. Motty Ravid, director of Maayanei Hayeshua, said that this evening, Rav Shteinman’s condition is serious and doctors are conferring on what their next step should be.

All are asked to continue davening for Rav Aharon Yehuda Leib ben Gittel Faiga.
