[See update on this story here.] A day after hours of effort by Rav Dovid Batzri, the noted mekubal, to chase a dybbuk from a Brazilian man, the Eidah Hachareidis of Yerushalayim placed the dybbuk in nidui, excommunication, and forbade it from causing any harm to Rav Batzri.
Following Wednesday night’s efforts to exorcise the dybbuk in the ezras noshim of Yeshiva Hashalom in Yerushalayim, Rav Batzri feared that the dybbuk may try to cause him harm. Rav Batzri turned to the bais din of the Eidah Hachareidis. Rav Moshe Shternbuch, Rosh Av Bais Din of the Eidah, released a p’sak from the bais din placing the dybbuk in a state of excommunication and formally forbidding it from causing any harm to Rav Batzri.
All over Eretz Yisroel, conversation revolves around this mysterious dybbuk which refuses to leave the body of the Brazilian avreich after two attempts to banish it, one via video conferencing and one, Wednesday night, in person, in the presence of thousands.
The dybbuk remains entrenched in the body of the Brazilian avreich and another attempt to chase it away is expected next week.

I have a great idea.
They should place the Hammas and Hezbaluh in Nedui, and Forbade them from ever hurting any Yid.

No, all over eretz Yisroel, all the chilonim are laughing at us. And this decrease any chance of them ever returning to observance.
Yaakov — Hamas wouldn’t listen. A Jew might listen.
…to the Beis Din that is.

I can’t read your mind, but this comment can be understood the wrong way.
Since it has been, let me point out that Rav Batzri shlitoh asked the Eidah for help. They had do whatever they deemed helpful and necessary.

#1 Cut out the childishness! This serious stuff, thats understood, to a soul lost for 2000 years
Why would the dibbuk who is the neshama of a rasha and killed people, listen to a beis din???
#6 – and you know that this soul is lost for 2000 years how?

#2 who cares?!
I have no clue if this story is true, but a yid is suffering and a very sensible person (HaRav Dovid Batzri Shlita) feels that this is what has to be done to help him. What type of person would rather let this person suffer so maybe the chilonim who hate us anyway will have less to laugh about. When I meet yordim (chilonim who had enough of Eretz Yisroel) they joke about my jewish appearance (beard, payos, etc.). Should I change that as well so maybe I can be mikarev someone one day? If a person (FFB, BT or NYBT{Not Yet BT} or any other type) doesnt understand that a godel byisroel knows what he is doing then he will never come close to the schchina any way.
#8, Um, the dybuk said so itself.
#2 typical kiruv lobby PC garbage. Of course, our whole lives shoulod revolve around the fryers and if they ch”v are laughing at us. Therefore, we should abandon suilly looking things like kaparos, havdalah, tashlich and any other obsevance that does not include a guitar.
#2 if your part of the “us” i am laughing at u i may hold some beliefs in common with these fools involved but i definitely know this is a bad joke
What if the dybbuk is a hiloni? Maybe it’s a non-Jewish dybbuk who doesn’t have to keep halakhah at all?
Especially, if the dybbuk is non-Jewish, he won’t be allowed to learn halakhah or Torah at all! So even if someone presents it with the herem and nidui, he’ll be forbidden to read it!
