Video, Photos: Rav Simcha Hakohen Kook and Rabbonim Sail Out to Sea to Daven for Rain
[Video and photos below.] The Jordan Valley Religious Council together with the Ayelet HaShachar outreach organization held a mass tefillah gathering yesterday on the Kinneret.
Led by Rav Simcha Hakohen Kook, rov of Rechovot and rov of the Churvah Shul, dozens arrived at Kibbutz Ein Gev where they boarded a sailboat and sailed the Sea of Galilee. They blew a shofar and recited a tefillah for rain.

Sitting and lurning in a beis hamedrish or davening in a shul would be more effective than going on a field trip to sea. Vus is the point?
